Denver Botanic Gardens approached the Garden Club of Denver in early spring about our willingness to donate centerpieces for their upcoming American Public Gardeners Association’s (APGA) dinner on June 4. This was a near and dear organization to former DBG CEO Brian Vogt and we are saddened that he was unable to be at this event. It was a small gesture of our respect for Brian and all that he accomplished at DBG. Thank you to GCD for funding this endeavor. A small group gathered to make these centerpieces. Thank you to Martha V., Cora W., Erin H., Elizabeth W., Nancy J. and Nina S. for creating these arrangements. These centerpieces were then donated to Craig Hospital for patients to enjoy.
