End of Season Flower Arranging at DBG

On a lovely late September morning a dozen of our members gathered in Lanie’s Cutting Garden at Denver Botanic Gardens and made about 55 beautiful arrangements.

Volunteers brought vases, jars and clippers and let their creativity flow. Many have been making arrangements throughout the summer on Mondays and Thursdays, but for this day we could cut as much as we needed because the garden was to be prepared for winter later that week. The morning sped by with Tracy Z. keeping us organized, and with yummy treats brought by Amy M.

The arrangements were delivered to many of the DBG staff as well as some of our emeritus members and were much appreciated. This was a very special fall morning in the gardens.
