Conservation Committee Studies Renewal Energy Research at NREL

On a sunny, cold day in February, 18 club members toured the National Renewal Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden with the Conservation Committee. One of 17 national laboratories, NREL is the home to renewable energy researchers.
With their public and private partners, researchers are accelerating the transition of renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies to the marketplace. Our tour guides described so many innovations that those of us on the tour felt as though we were drinking out of an innovation fire hose.
Check out: www.NREL.gov The website describes exciting research, includes stories and pictures and will inspire you.
