GCD’s delegates Lynn D. and Lise W. arrived in Washington, DC for the 2023 National Affairs and Legislation (NAL) conference armed with talking points for key GCA-backed legislative requests. Who better to absorb two days of content-rich education from The Nature Conservancy, the USDA, EarthJustice, and others?
The Colorado delegation included the Broadmoor Garden Club delegates and Suellen W. as Editor of ConWatch. All five met in person with key legislative aids in Senators Bennet’s and Hickenlooper’s offices, and via Zoom with all eight Colorado congressional representatives. GCD & Broadmoor GC advocated, inspired, and with luck, convinced all our representatives to support the bills GCA is focused on.
